URGENT - Patch released for Operation Aurora Threat

Microsft realeased a patch that resolves several critical vulnerabilities in different versions of Internet Explorer.

Earlier this week McAfee warned for a serious threat, called Operation Aurora. This threat uses a vulnerability in Internet Explorer to inject malicious code into systems and even could open the doors for a Conficker successor. Fortunately Microsoft worked hard on the issue and released a patch to resolve several vulnerabilities in several versions of Internet Explorer.

The Microsoft Security Bulleting MS10-002 is a critical update and should be implemented as soon as possible! Visit the Microsoft website for more information and to download the necessary patches. You must install the patches as soon as possible on all your computers

If, for some reason, you are unable to install the patches, make sure your McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System is up-to-date on all nodes. HIPS is a very important part of the McAfee protection, because it will close the gap on vulnerabilities, until a patch is released to resolve them.
